Who can make a donation?
Anyone can donate and support the mission of registered nonprofit organizations at
www.GoBigGIVE.org.
How can I make a donation?
Donations can be made to any registered organization at www.GoBigGIVE.org beginning April 27th
through 11:59 p.m. May 7th. You can search for an organization by name, keyword or service area.
Each organization will have a donation page on www.GoBigGIVE.org where you can view their
mission and services. Donation online is available via credit card and check. Checks must be entered
via the E-Check process at checkout.
What credit cards will be accepted at www.GoBigGIVE.org?
Accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Can I make a cash donation?
Yes. Cash donations will be accepted and require an Offline Donation Sheet. Cash donations must
be submitted to the Go Big GIVE team during normal business hours at 1441 N Webb Rd, Grand
Island prior to May 1st.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Donations made through Go Big GIVE are 100% tax-deductible. Gifts cannot be designated for
specific programs.
Is there a minimum donation? Is there a maximum donation?
The minimum donation is $10. There is no maximum donation. Donations up to $25,000 are eligible
to receive a proportionate share of the matching funds.
Can I give to more than one organization?
Yes. You may make multiple donations with one transaction to registered organizations. For your
security, payment information is not saved. Donors who wish to make additional gifts later will reenter payment information.
What organizations are participating in Go Big GIVE?
A complete list of participating organizations in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties can be
found on the GoBigGIVE.org under the “Nonprofits” tab. Nonprofit status and IRS compliance have
been verified for each organization.
How much of my donation will go to the nonprofit?
The organization(s) will receive the full donation less a processing fee of 5%. Greater Grand Island
Community Foundation and Heartland United Way do not receive fees of any kind for Go Big GIVE.
Can I make a donation using my phone?
Yes. GoBigGIVE.org supports a mobile-optimized platform that makes donating from your smart
phone a snap.
